FP&A Analyst - Management Accountant

Role Purpose:
The key objective of the role includes preparation, analysis and reporting of the monthly Premium Production and Commission results and financial performance/profitability analysis for the Australian and New Zealand Operations. This includes preparation and distribution of results to the relevant business and portfolio managers.
Responsibilities:
The role also includes providing assistance with the coordination and preparation of the regular production and commission forecasts and annual business plan.
Produce monthly Premium Production results by relevant Product and distribute to all stakeholders on a timely basis, with appropriate commentary supporting the results and identifying key drivers of the results.
Analyse and distribute Financial Performance Metrics for the relevant Products identifying key financial performance drivers with appropriate commentary supporting the analysis.
Maintain TM1 records and provide support in respect of production and forecast and develop TM1 management reports to meet the needs of business and management as and when required.
Assist in the coordination and preparation of the Annual Premium Production Plan for the business.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of assigned Balance Sheet accounts with appropriate supporting documents.
Co-ordinate month end activities to ensure all Commission expense accruals are accurately and timely captured in the financial system as per the month end timetable.
Analyse monthly Commission expense to ensure ledger records are complete and accurate and provide expense analysis commentary reports to the senior management.
Provide assistance with the development of other ad-hoc business reports to support senior management and the business in understanding the performance results and assist in the decision making.
Implement continuous process improvements to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness in all areas of responsibility.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management and working towards full CPA/CA membership status.
3 ? 5 years of commercial experience.
Deadline driven, attention to detail, highly analytical with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deal with both internal and external clients at all levels in the business.
Proficient in use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel with advance skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
