Executive Director

Reporting to the President of Florida Technical College, the Executive Director is the executive that has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the staff, programs, performance, budget controls, financial requirements and execution of the mission and goals.
The Executive Director provides day-to-day management for the School and is expected to be an experienced and entrepreneurial leader, committed to fostering fiscal and operational excellence.
The Executive Director provides leadership and operational guidance that ensures compliance to requirements, as well as growth initiatives for the School.
He/she will play a key role in helping the School and its members navigate a wide range of options and developments in the coming years while maintaining and improving existing services.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related areas 3 years of experience in Education At least five (5) years of supervisory experience Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Plan, Organize and direct Education, Placement, Admissions and Financial functions of the college Ensure enrollment, retention and placement goals are met Develop and implement an Institutional Effectiveness Plan Work with the president in the enrollment projections, processes and logistics Supervise administrative, academic and student services to ensure the required level of service is being provided Coordinate the academic processes along with the Academic Director and ensure compliance with the necessary documentation Accountable for school growth and development not only in student population but also in the quality of their learning process, the school image, as well as the financial aspects and the operational results Recruit, train and develop key managers Provide leadership and mentoring that motivates and creates a positive atmosphere within the administrative staff, faculty and students Foster a pleasant environment and educational culture among student population, faculty, administrators and directors as a community component that serves the Institution Develop, implement and manage institutional budgetary plan Comply with the Academic Calendar Organize and direct school meetings Maintain an open communication and inform the president of school status as it relates to personnel, resources, and opportunities, situations that are affecting or may affect the well-functioning of the school in the future and provide appropriate measures to consider Responsible for managing and proper use of budget and petty cash assigned to the school in accordance to the norms, policies and procedures of the institution Coordinate recruitment process with supervisors and the Human Resources department Ensure personnel are aware of their duties and responsibilities and maintain their files complete and updated Request, maintain and control school inventory and make sure classrooms and labs are prepared Officially represent the school inside and outside of the school, work with local advisory boards Establish and maintain a network of institutions, companies, agencies, higher education centers, necessary for student recruitment, personnel strengthening, adequate operation and continuous school development Ensure the school's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and accrediting bodies Applicants must meet the minimum requirements to be considered.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
